RT @rgunns: why do people keep saying this? it's so ahistorical. lynchings used to be afternoon outings. folks would mail pieces of flesh from the victims to their families as keepsakes. we *can* have shared values, but we have to WORK to establish and maintain them. it ain't a given. https://t.co/I2K0a7r6J5
