OFDM, which stands for orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing, is the signaling technique that has come to dominate communication, wireline and wireless. LTE, NR, and the mentioned WLAN standards all feature OFDM. Although the mainstream alternatives are entertained too, we acknowledge the dominance of OFDM and rely on it extensively for our formulations. 🤐
